Arun Dayal Udai is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India. He completed his Ph. D at IIT Delhi, India in the subject area of Force Control of Industrial Robots in 2016. He completed his B. Tech in Marine Engineering from MERI, Kolkata, India in the year 1999 and worked with Anglo Eastern Ship Management, Hong Kong for four years. He sailed across globe onboard ship to different countries and acquired expertise in various areas of mechanical engineering. He did his M. Tech (Mechanical Design) from BIT Mesra, Ranchi in the year 2006. He has co-authored a text book on Computer Graphics, which was published by Tata McGraw Hill, New Delhi in 2008. His research interests include robotics, mechatronics and CAD.
