Accessing the cluster: Aryabhata is a Linux based (Centos 7.8) cluster. Users can access to the cluster through a master node, which allow users to log in. Users may reach to the cluster from any computer on the IIT (ISM) Dhanbad network with SSH client.
1. Users may access login nodes through ssh to 172.16.203.11 .
2. The login node is primarily gateway to the rest of the cluster, which is accessed through a job queueing system (called Torque and MAUI). Users submit jobs to the queue and jobs will run when the asked resources are available.
3. Please do not run programs directly on login nodes. Master node should be used only to submit jobs, transfer data, edit files and data, installing software from source code, and compiling source codes. Any jobs running on master node will be automatically killed.
