v      Selected as "Meritorious Scholar" for involving into academic activity at IIT Kharagpur, in consecutive three  years i.e. during 2000-2001, 2001-2002 and 2002-2003

v       Recipient of the “CSIR Foreign travel Grant”  for sponsoring me to present key note paper  in the international conference at SHENYANG, P. R. China 

v      Recipient of the “Hindustan Zinc Limited Award” by the Institution of Engineers (INDIA) for the best technical research paper

 o      Five short term academic projects on IT area was handled by me during year 1999 – 2003

o        One project sponsored by ISIRD in the area of Mining as a capacity of Co –coordinator during 1999 – 2001

o        One consultancy project sponsored by IISCO, SAIL in the area of Mine Surveying as a capacity of Consultant In-charge  during 2006-07

o        One consultancy project sponsored by FACOR in the area of Blast Vibration Studies as a capacity of Consultant In-charge  during 2006-07

o        Conducted several short term training programmes on Information technology for different organizations at IIPM, Kansbahal during year 2003 – 2004.         

o        Working a Co-Coordinator in the project “Development of a setup for stress measurement in Concrete tunnel lining dam walls and pillars sponsored by Ministry of Water Resources, GOI

o        Working a Co-Coordinator in the project “Development of Mine Information Systems” sponsored by MHRD 

o        Working as member in varois Consultancy Projects at Dept. of Mining Engineering, and associated departments at ISM in the area of Blast Design, Ventilation and Surveying. 

o        Course co-coordinator of Six week intensive course on Advances in Mine Surveying Technology from February 12 to March 24^th , 2007 

o        Course co-coordinator 4 –Week Course for Executives Trainees of NTPC
