At the Flow Instability Laboratory, our broad research interests encompass fluid mechanics and transport phenomena. In particular, we are interested in the hydrodynamic stability of Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids, porous media flows, low Reynolds number flows, biological fluid dynamics, electrokinetics and microscale transport, physics-informed data-driven methods, etc.

We aim to tackle problems in these domains using a combination of analytical, computational, and experimental investigations (with emphasis on analytical and computational analyses).
