By Rail: IIT(ISM) Dhanbad is located at the heart of Dhanbad city and is well connected to the rest of the country through an extensive railway network. Dhanbad Railway Station, situated just 2.8 km from the IIT (ISM) Campus, is the largest railway station in the state. There are direct train routes to almost every major city in the country. Taxis are readily available 24/7 to take you from the railway station to the campus, where one can also avail online cab services like Ola. In addition, autorickshaws and e-rickshaws can also be booked from Dhanbad station to campus.

By Road: Dhanbad city is connected by well-developed road network linking it to nearby cities. National Highway 18 and National Highway 19 pass through Dhanbad, providing connectivity to key cities such as Ranchi (the state capital), Kolkata (the capital of West Bengal), Jamshedpur, and Bokaro. Numerous buses operate on these routes, ensuring seamless travel between these destinations.

By Air: Alternatively, one can reach Dhanbad via air routes. The nearest public airports to Dhanbad are Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport in Durgapur (85 km), Deoghar International Airport in Deoghar (110 km), Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi (140 km), Gaya Airport (207 km), and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata (269 km).

Participants will be provided single/double occupancy accommodation, subject to availability, in the hostels as well as in the guest house of IIT(ISM) Dhanbad at nominal charges on per-day basis. Those who wish to avail hostel accommmodation will need to fill in their details through a google form that will be shared well in advance before the conference dates.
