Objectives
The principal activities of the center are developing new technologies related to Hydrogen and Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) in order to combat climate change. Specifically, they may be delineated as follows:
- To develop new processes, products, and solutions for a Hydrogen-based economy.
- To develop new processes, products, and solutions for carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration.
- To develop new courses and education materials for climate change areas.
- To organize conferences, seminars, and workshops for widespread dissemination to the public about the threats and possible solutions.
- To develop start-ups and enterprises that are offering solutions to mitigate climate change, carbon sequestration, and clean energy.
- To support M. Tech. and Ph.D. students in their research addressing the problems of climate change, carbon sequestration, and clean energy.
