Fully Automatic antenna and RCS measurement facility up to 50 GHz


The multi-purpose facility was developed for carrying out Far Field Antenna and RCS Measurements, as per MIL-STD 285. Five-axis antenna positioner is installed in the chamber providing three rotations (azimuthal, elevation, and polarization) and two linear movements to the device under test. Provisions are made to do the RCS measurement using monostatic as well as Bistatic RCS.

  1. Frequency Region: 800 MHz to 50 GHz.
  2. Chamber Type and size: Rectangular with opening door and 7 m× 5 m × 3 m.
  3. Purpose: Antenna Parameters Testing, RCS Measurement, and metamaterial testing.
  4. Shielding effectiveness: Min -60 dB from 800 MHz to 40 GHz.
  5. Quite Zone Size: 0.5 m x 0.5 m x 0.5 m (cube).
  6. Quietness: Minimum – 40 dB.
