High Resolution Mass Spectrometer (HRMS)

Waters XEVO G2-XS QTOF — Central Research Facility (CRF), IIT (ISM) Dhanbad

Equipped with dual electrospray ionization and atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (ESI/APCI), Dual atmospheric pressure chemical ionization and atmospheric pressure photo ionization (APCI/APPI) and atmospheric pressure solids analysis probe (ASAP), the Waters XEVO G2-XS QTOF High Resolution Mass Spectrometer (HRMS) at the Central Research Facility, IIT (ISM), Dhanbad can detect accurate masses of a wide range of molecules such as small molecules, APIs, and macromolecules. Coupled with the Ultra High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC) system, it enables both quantitative and qualitative analysis of samples.

Key Features
Waters XEVO G2-XS QTOF HRMS:
  • Mass Range: 20 to 32,000 m/z in Quadrupole & 20 to 1,00,000 m/z in TOF.
  • Resolution: ≥ 45,000 FWHM for m/z 1000 and ≥ 35,000 FWHM for around 200 m/z.
  • Sensitivity: Full MS/MS mode ≤ 10 femtogram on column, S/N ratio greater than 100:1.
ACQUITY UPLC H – CLASS PLUS SYSTEM:
  • Quaternary operating pump(s) with an operating pressure of minimum 15000 psi.
  • Flow rate range: 0.010 to 2.200 mL/min, in 0.001 mL increments.
  • Flow rate accuracy: ±0.1%.

Ideal for high-precision molecular mass detection, chemical identification, and quantitative analysis across a wide mass range.
