Model: STA 2500 with QMS 505 Aeolos Coupling

The NETZSCH STA 2500 Regulus is a Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer (STA) designed for high-reliability, cost-effective measurement of materials. It combines Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) and Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA/DSC), allowing for simultaneous measurement of mass changes and caloric events on the same sample under identical conditions.
Key features include a top-loading, vertical, and differential balance system. This unique differential design cancels out buoyancy and convection effects, eliminating the need for time-consuming baseline runs and ensuring stable measurements with a high thermogravimetric resolution of 0.03 micro gram. .
The instrument operates up to 1100C and supports a wide range of atmospheres, including inert, oxidizing, and vacuum, controlled by Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer (QMS). Its top-loading design is also ideal for coupling to Evolved Gas Analysis (EGA) systems like Mass Spectrometry (MS) to analyze the gases released during thermal treatment.
