- Visited Poprad Tatry, Slovakia to attend International Conference ICMEM 2018 held during 18-22 June, 2018. Chaired one technical session and delivered one oral presentation. Discussed for collaborative research work with University of Košice, Slovakia and IIT(ISM) Dhanbad.
- Canara Bank research award at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad for the highest number of publications in the year 2014, 2015 and 2016.
- Visited University of Surrey, UK in October, 2016 for collaborative research followed by joint publication.
- Visited University of Windsor, Canada during Summer, 2015 as guest faculty

- Successfully completed Fulbright Nehru Senior Research Fellowship programme administered by US Department of States, for pursuing research in Dept. of Civil and environmental Engineering, University of California, Davis.

- Given away National Science Day Award 2002 for notable contribution in the field of Science and Technology, by Science Association of Bengal.
- Awarded Institute Post-Graduate Fellowship after qualifying in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, India.
- Awarded National Scholarship and selected for Merit Scholarships during undergraduate program.
