Medical Camp

A free Health Awareness Program – Cum – Medical Camp was organized by Centre of Societal Mission in collaboration with ‘Upnishadan’ on the ground floor of Student Activity Center (SAC) of IIT(ISM) Dhanbad on 8th December, 2017. Objective of the program was to spread an awareness among the people of five adopted villages (Namely: Lahbani, Dhaiya, Bhelatand, Bapunagar and Mandal-Basti) and to provide them a free medical check-up and medicines as prescribed by the doctors, during the camp. It was a multi-specialty medical camp, addressed to the less fortunate people of Dhaiya, Lahbani, Bhelatanr, Mandal Basti and Babu Nagar localities of Dhanbad, followed by an interactive session on Health Awareness-cum-Empowerment through knowledge sharing.
