MENSTRUAL Hygiene

Every year during the ‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ a Sanitary Pad Donation and Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Campaign is being conducted. During the drive of 15 days, students collect sanitary pads from the Teacher's Colony and Staff Quaters of IIT (ISM) Campus, later they distribute the pads among the needy women of different Bastis in Dhanbad area.

Menstrual Hygiene workshops are also held, aimed to empower women and adolscent girls. A comic, Menstrupedia Comic is given to all girls to teach them about periods.
