Air Bearing Rheometer may be used to study Rheological properties of any liquid or gel sample like, Viscosity and Modulus values as a function of time, temperature, strain and stress with modelling & curve fitting facility to classify material behaviour by various rheological models (flow, oscillation & creep).


The key features of AR includes:


    1. Motor Bearing is Air Bearing.
    2. Measuring Head Type is Direct Current Synchronous Motor with Permanent Magnets on its Rotor or Drag Cup Motor.
    3. Torque Range: Min. Torque in Rotation is 1.00 nNm; Min. Torque in Oscillation is 0.6 nNm; Max. Torque is 220 mNm.
    4. Normal force measurement & resolution is up to 50 N & 0.01 N.
    5. Angular Velocity Range is 0 to 300 rad/s.
    6. Frequency Range is 10E-07 to 628 rad/s.
    7. Strain / Displacement Sensor is High Resolution Optical Encoder.
    8. Direct Strain Amplitude and Direct Stress Amplitude modes and Rotational, Oscillatory & Transient measurement types are available.
