The MCR 702e MultiDrive is the ultimate platform for conducting dynamic mechanical analysis on solid and soft samples. It facilitates various modes within a single instrument, including bending, tension, compression, shear, torsion, and thermomechanical analysis (TMA). Its modular architecture permits seamless integration of diverse temperature control devices and application-specific accessories, catering to the diverse needs of various applications.

The key features of DMA includes:

Determination of material’s properties as a function of temperature, time, frequency, stress, atmosphere, or a combination of these parameters.
    1. An air-bearing-supported upper rotational and lower linear drive.
    2. The applied force range is 0.0005 N to 40 N, and the displacement range is 0.01 μm to 9400 μm.
    3. Operating Frequency range: 0.001 Hz to 100 Hz.
    4. Temperature limits: -160°C to 400°C
    5. Maximum heating rate: 35 K/min
    6. Maximum cooling rate: 30 K/min
    7. For low-temperature environments, a nitrogen evaporation unit is available.
    8. Material choices for DMA: Polymers, Composites, Thermo-plastics, Fibers, Elastomers, Foams, Filled materials and Ceramics.
    9. The apparatus can work at a maximum torque of 230 mNm, and the minimum torque in oscillation is 0.5 nNm.
    10. The angular velocity of the upper rotational drive ranges from 0 rad/s to 314 rad/s with a wide range of angular deflection in μrad.
    11. Maximum angular frequency: 628 rad/s.
