Equipped with dual electrospray ionization and atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (ESI/APCI), Dual atmospheric pressure chemical ionization and atmospheric pressure photo ionization (APCI/APPI) and atmospheric pressure solids analysis probe (ASAP), the Waters XEVO G2-XS QTOF High Resolution Mass Spectrometer (HRMS) at the Central Research Facility, IIT (ISM), Dhanbad can be used to detect the accurate mass of a wide range molecules such as small molecules, APIs as well as macromolecules. Coupled with the above, the Ultra High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC) system enables both quantitative and qualitative analysis of samples.
The key features of HRMS includes:
-
Waters XEVO G2-XS QTOF HRMS:
1.) Mass Range: 20 to 32,000 m/z in Quadrupole & 20 to 1,00,000 m/z in TOF.
2.) Resolution: ≥ 45,000 FWHM for m/z 1000 and ≥ 35,000 FWHM for around 200 m/z.
3.) Sensitivity: Full MS/MS mode ≤ 10 femtogram on column, at S/N ratio greater than 100:1
ACQUITY UPLC H – CLASS PLUS SYTEM:
1.) Quaternary operating pump(s) with an operating pressure of minimum 15000 psi
2.) Flow rate range - 0.010 to 2.200 mL/min, in 0.001 mL increments
3.) Flow rate accuracy: ±0.1 %.
