Universal Tribometer contains versatility and modularity that provide several tribological and mechanical testing solutions for various applications. It can measure friction coefficient across lubricant, grease, bio, automobile, semiconductor, aerospace, materials, ceramics, etc. Tribometer can facilitate working in rotary, reciprocating, block on ring, linear tribology and scratch test, indentation and scratch test with inline optical profilometer for quick onboard measurement. It has a provision for application of load automatically.

Rotary set up (for ball on disk, pin on disk, thrust washer testing, spiral motion wear measurements) :Normal load: up to 3000 N, Least Count: 0.1N, Disk speed : 0.1 to 5000 rpm Provision for humidity control and inert gas purging chamber.
Reciprocating drive (for ball on flat, pin on plate etc): Frequency: 0.1 to 60 Hz, stroke: 1-25mm.
