Empowering Tribal Education
- Capacity Building and Skill Development Programmes for creating better livelihood opportunities for tribals in Jharkhand.
- Up skilling of traditional skills for tribals in Jharkhand for better employment opportunities.
- Creating sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem for promoting entrpreneurship activities for tribals in Jharkhand.
- Providing training in various emerging domains as per requirement of the industry.
- Exposure of tribal students in Jharkhand to various best practices of the industry through expert talk, industry visits, seminars, etc.
- Hands on experience for the tribal students of Jharkhand to the latest technologies and software's through various centres of excellence and innovation hub of the institute.
- Workshops, Nukkad Natak, Science Exhibitions, Simulation exercises, Puppet shows, etc. for tribal students in Jharkhand.
- MOUs with industry partners for participation in various activities of the centre and facilitation of placement for trained tribal students in the industry.
- Channelizing the CSR funds of the industry for all round holistic development of tribal communities in Jharkhand through Centre of Excellence at IIT(ISM), Dhanbad.

Data Collection & Participation
The seven Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) in Jharkhand have shown commendable commitment by actively participating in the capacity-building training program focused on basic and advanced computer skills. These schools have collectively enrolled 1,500 students in the program, demonstrating their dedication to enhancing digital literacy and technical capabilities among their students.
Pre Impact Assessment test
To ensure customized learning that meets our students' needs, we recently conducted a comprehensive pre-assessment test focusing on computer proficiency.
- A bell curve showing normal distribution for the impact assessment of various EMRS schools. The top of the curve shows the mean, mode & median of the data collected. Its standard deviation depicts the bell curve’s relative width around the mean.
- Utilize bar charts and box plots to effectively compare the pre-assessment test results of different EMRS schools. Bar charts can illustrate categorical differences such as the number of students achieving various score ranges, while box plots can reveal the distribution and variability in test scores, highlighting medians, quartiles, and any outliers
